Becoming a news anchor is perfect for those who love journalism and who don’t mind being in the spotlight. A news anchor’s job is to analyze news stories and portray them to the audiences watching. If this is something you are considering, you may first want to get your bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications.

If you prefer to stay behind the scenes but are creative and want to be involved in Hollywood, becoming a writer may be for you. Writers tend to create and produce content for movies and TV shows and even plays and songs. The salary that comes with being a writer all depends on the type of content you produce, but ultimately starts at around $60,000.
